Ramil Bajo, Rey Galupo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Four alleged drug pushers were arrested in separate raids in Malabon City during the past three days, police said yesterday.

Maricris de Paz, 20, was with Radjie Nadura when police officers raided her house and apprehended her on Dagat-Dagatan Avenue Saturday. Nadura escaped and is the subject of a manhunt.

On Sunday night, Danilo Rivera, 44, and 18-year-old Rezi Damariñas were arrested also on Dagat-Dagatan Avenue in Barangay Longos.

Last Monday, the city police’s anti-drug unit received a call from a concerned citizen that several persons were selling drugs on Del Monte Avenue in Barangay Potrero.

Acting on the tip, police officers arrested Edgardo Acuña, 38, with several sachets of shabu.

All four suspects were charged yesterday with violating the anti-drug law at the Malabon prosecutor’s office.
