Body found under Jones Bridge

MANILA, Philippines - The body of a unidentified man, stuffed in a black garbage bag, was found under the Jones Bridge in Binondo, Manila before dawn yesterday.

Senior Police Officer 2 Glenn Vallejo of Manila Police District’s homicide section said the body was discovered by a jeepney driver at past 3 a.m.

The man, who looked “Korean or Chinese,” had three stab wounds, and his head and hands were wrapped with packaging tape, Vallejo said. He described the victim as about 30 to 35 years old and 5’5” in height.

The body was brought to the Universal Funeral Homes for autopsy.
