Professor hangs self in school lab

MANILA, Philippines - A professor of St. Jude College in Manila allegedly hanged himself in the school’s laboratory.

The body of Emmanuel Osumo, 47, was discovered at about 8 a.m. yesterday in his office at the Head Laboratory Services on the sixth floor of the school building.

Senior Police Officer 1 Mario Asilo said Osumo was last seen alive at the school entrance gate at about 7:45 a.m. on Monday by security guard Luis Pelias.

Asilo said Osumo was still hanging from the ceiling when he was discovered by the school’s laboratory head assistant, Mario Dalimocon.
