‘Rapist’ slain in QC

MANILA, Philippines - An unidentified man, his head wrapped in packaging tape and his hands tied,  was found dead in front of a house in Barangay Bahay Toro, Quezon City Monday night.

A message written on a piece of paper found next to his body said, “Grupong sundo: rapist grade 4 student.”

Senior Police Officer 1 Eric Lazo said the man was shot in the left cheek, with the bullet exiting behind his right ear. Investigators found a used cartridge of a .45 caliber bullet at the crime scene.

A resident told police he was about to sleep when he heard a gunshot outside his home. When he checked, he was shocked to find the body of the victim lying on the pavement.
