Indian money-lender shot dead

MANILA, Philippines - An Indian money-lender was shot dead in Baseco Compound in Manila yesterday.
Narinder Kumar, 38, died on the spot from a gunshot wound below his right ear, said Police Officer 2 Michael Marragun of the Manila Police District homicide division.
Police have yet to establish the motive for the killing.
Kumar’s partner, Fatimah Alimudin, 25, told police that he had no enemies.
Police said the victim had just collected P20 from Rodora Zamora when the gunman attacked him at around 9:15 a.m.
