AFP reservist nabbed for threatening neighbor

MANILA, Philippines - An Armed Forces of the Philippines reservist was arrested for allegedly threatening his neighbor and firing his gun in Navotas City Sunday afternoon.

Ramil Abaño, 43, of Barangay North Bay Boulevard North, was apprehended after his neighbor, Benalyn Feliciano, 39, filed a complaint.

Feliciano told police she was standing in front of her house at around 4 p.m. when Abaño cursed at her, drew his gun and fired a warning shot. She did not say what caused her neighbor to threaten her.

Police Officers 1 Michael dela Cruz and Delson Kawiking booked Abaño on charges of indiscriminate firing, grave threats, and violating the Omnibus Election Code.
