Man forces boy, 7, to smoke shabu

MANILA, Philippines - A 22-year-old man was arrested for forcing a seven-year-old neighbor to smoke shabu in Caloocan City Wednesday afternoon.

Alvin Bejerano was charged with child abuse after he admitted that it was the third time he had forced the boy.

The victim said he was about to throw out a dead rat near their house when Bejerano called him and tried to persuade him to use shabu. He told police he tried to run away, but Bejerano caught him and forced him to smoke shabu.

That night, the boy was unable to eat and sleep. When his parents asked him, he told them what happened. The boy’s parents went to the police, who arrested the suspect.
