Ramil Bajo, Rey Galupo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A 44-year-old man was killed and three teenagers were wounded when a man shot people at a wake in Caloocan City before dawn yesterday.

Cesar Todilla died on the spot. August Sanchez, 18; his brother, Cesar, 13; and Ryan Andrei Bonaobra, 13, were brought to the President Diosdado Macapagal Medical Center for treatment.

Investigators said Todilla and the other victims were playing card games at around 1 a.m. at a wake in Barangay 28 when a man, identified only as “Kulit,” arrived and started shooting.

Neighbors could not say what the gunman’s motive was, but investigators believe the gunman may have had an argument with Todilla.
