Arraignment of Davantes slay suspects reset

MANILA, Philippines - The arraignment of two of the men arrested for the killing of advertising executive Kristelle Davantes was reset after prosecutors filed a motion to amend the complaint against the suspects, a court official said yesterday.

Leamor Garcia, clerk of court of the Las Piñas Regional Trial Court Branch 253, said Judge Salvador Timbang postponed the arraignment of Reggie Diel and Lloyd Benedict Enriquez to Oct. 17.

Garcia said Department of Justice prosecutor Omar Casimiro filed the motion to amend the complaint. The DOJ charged Diel and Enriquez with robbery with homicide.
