MANILA, Philippines - A 22-year-old woman slashed her wrist yesterday morning after reportedly learning that her boyfriend was having an affair with another woman.
Joan Aguilar’s sister found her bleeding in her bedroom at their house in Bagong Barrio, Caloocan City at past 9 a.m. Aguilar’s father rushed her to the MCU Hospital, where she is recovering.
Investigators ruled out foul play after Aguilar said she tried to commit suicide upon learning that her boyfriend was cheating on her.
