Dead baby found floating in Navotas river

MANILA, Philippines - The body of a baby girl was found in a shoulder bag floating in a river in Navotas City Sunday afternoon.
A certain Ronald Losloso saw the bag floating in the river near Galunggong street in North Bay Boulevard South at around 4 p.m., police said.
Thinking there may be important items inside, Losloso retrieved the bag. He was surprised to see the dead infant, wrapped in a white blanket, inside the bag. Investigators have yet to identify the baby’s parents.
