5 alleged drug dealers nabbed

MANILA, Philippines - Five people were arrested during a drug bust in Maharlika Village, Taguig City yesterday.

Bai Intan Myra Lumumba, Richard Anabeza, Muslimin Kendato, Roelito Jo and Saudi Amin were reportedly caught selling shabu to an undercover police officer, according to Taguig police chief Senior Superintendent Arthur Felix Asis.

Police officers confiscated a 12-gauge shotgun and 20 shotgun cartridges from the suspects, he added.

The five suspects face charges of drug possession and trafficking, Asis said.
