Machine operator P30 M richer

MANILA, Philippines - A 29-year-old machine operator from Valenzuela City claimed the jackpot of the 6/55 Grand Lotto’s Aug. 31 draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) said yesterday.

Jose Ferdinand Rojas, PCSO general manager, said the bettor hit the six-digit winning combination 55-26-03-40-25-21 with the prize of P30 million.

The player, who is a bachelor, bought a single ticket and picked the numbers at random, Rojas said.

He said the winner plans to buy a house and lot for his family, build an apartment for rental business and share his winnings with his siblings.
