Caloocan school gets bomb threat
MANILA, Philippines - The Pangarap Elementary School in Caloocan City suspended classes yesterday after its principal received a bomb threat.
Rose Lorenzo said she received a text message at around 5:30 a.m. that a bomb was set to explode in one of the classrooms.
Faculty president Myla Taunan said school officials decided to send the students home. She said they also advised the Pangarap High School, which is located behind the elementary school, about the threat.
Bomb experts from the Caloocan police found no explosive in the school.
