Teen killed, 2 minors hurt in Pasig shooting

MANILA, Philippines - An unidentified motorcycle-riding gunman shot at three teenagers, killing one, as the victims were walking on the street in Barangay Manggahan before dawn yesterday.

Vince Huyatid, 18, died while being treated at the Pasig City General Hospital. His 17-year-old companions, Ricardo Roxas and Ruel Sumalla, are being treated at the same hospital.

Huyatid sustained several gunshot wounds. Roxas was hit in the right thigh while Sumalla was hit twice in the chest and once in the left thigh and right hand.

According to Police Officer 3 Laurence Punzalan, the three were walking to Roxas’ house when they were attacked at around 2:45 a.m.
