Burglars hit dental clinic in Pasig

MANILA, Philippines - Burglars took about P50,000 worth of equipment and personal belongings from a dental clinic in Barangay Maybunga, Pasig City.

Dental aide Rose Cabalonga, 25, discovered the burglary when she reported for work at dentist Janice Martinez’s clinic on the third floor of the Salare building at around 10 a.m. yesterday.

Martinez, 33, said the burglars managed to enter her clinic by destroying the sliding lock and the iron grills of the glass window.

She told police the burglars took a LED television, a laptop worth P16,000, video recordings for a surveillance camera and other belongings.

Investigators are reviewing the building’s surveillance footage to see if the burglars were caught on camera.
