Man kills wife over alleged affair

MANILA, Philippines - A man who suspected that his wife was having an affair killed her following an argument in Caloocan City yesterday morning.

Samuel Olivares, 43, confronted his wife, Luzviminda, about his suspicions at around 6 a.m.

Luzviminda, who worked as a service crew of a nearby burger stand, denied Olivares’ accusation.

Following a lengthy argument, Olivares reportedly stabbed his wife in the neck, police officers said.

He fled and is now the subject of a manhunt, according to investigators.
