2 dead as woman falls on neighbor

MANILA, Philippines - Two persons were killed yesterday afternoon when a woman carrying a one-year-old child fell from the third floor of their house and landed on her neighbor in Valenzuela City.
Investigators said Rachel Naval, 30, was with her one-year-old nephew, Dennis Cabrera, when they fell from the third floor of their house in Arkong Bato at past 1 p.m.
The two fell on Renato Alcantara, 63, who was resting at the ground floor.
Naval and Alcantara were declared dead on arrival at the nearby Lorenzo Hospital while the boy was under observation at the Dalandanan Hospital.
Authorities are investigating if the fall was an accident or if there was foul play involved.
