MANILA, Philippines - A suspected drug pusher and member of the Sigue-Sigue Sputnik jailhouse gang was shot dead near the railroad tracks on Hermosa street in Tondo, Manila Thursday afternoon.
Witnesses said two men accosted Richard Magsalang, 33, while he was walking and shot him twice in the head.
A source said one of Magsalang’s killers, who fled after the attack, was known in the area as “Toteng.â€
Magsalang’s partner, Giselle Vergara, 17, told Police Officer 3 Julieto Malindog that the victim was on his way to visit a friend when he was attacked.
