MANILA, Philippines - The body of a man believed to be a victim of summary execution was found in Barangay Batasan Hills, Quezon City before dawn yesterday.
SPO1 Johnny Mahilum said they have yet to identify the victim, believed to be in his late 30s.
He said the victim had two puncture wounds in his right leg and multiple gunshot wounds in the torso and head. Police also found at the crime scene two spent cartridges of 9mm bullets.
A resident had called up the police at past 2 a.m. to report finding the victim.
Mahilum said they were now trying to determine if the victim was the man reported missing in Payatas on Sunday night.
