Vendor shot in rob try

MANILA, Philippines - The butt of an ice cream vendor was accidentally shot in an attempted robbery in Caloocan City Tuesday.
Emmanuel Jibulan, 51, was in a pedicab passing 9th AveÂnue Extension in Grace Park when Nestor Montencillo, 40, a businessman, grabbed the handgun of two robbers who tried to rob him.
The gun accidentally went off and hit Jibulan, who was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The unidentified robbers escaped.
