MANILA, Philippines - The owner of a porridge stall in Navotas City was hurt when the gas stove he was using exploded yesterday morning.
Nildo Orcelino, 32, sustained first degree burns after the gas stove leaked, triggering a fire at 5:55 a.m.
The fire, which reached first alarm, was put out at 6:30 a.m.
Damage to property was estimated at P100,000.
Probers said the store has a firewall that helped contain the fire.
