P1-M property goes up in smoke

MANILA, Philippines - A fire broke out at a two-story residential house in Barangay St. Ignatius, Quezon City Tuesday night, destroying properties worth around P1 million.
Fire Officer 3 Sherwin Penafiel said the fire at the house owned by Dolores Cruz started at 9:21 p.m. It reached second alarm before it was put out by responding firemen past 10 p.m.
Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of the blaze. No one was reported injured in the incident.
