Last-minute shoppers told to bring umbrellas

MANILA, Philippines - Parents who plan to do their last-minute shopping for school supplies today should bring umbrellas, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said yesterday.

Forecaster Meno Mendoza said Metro Manila would have partly cloudy to at times cloudy weather and experience isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms today.

“Almost everyday we have been having isolated rains in Metro Manila and it would be best that they bring their umbrellas,” Mendoza said.
