MANILA, Philippines - A Quezon City policeman is facing robbery charges after he was accused of stealing money and cellular phones from an Iranian last year.

The case against Police Officer 1 Levi de Vera of the Quezon City Police District-Station 10 was raffled Monday to Quezon City Regional Trial Court Branch 80 Judge Charito Gonzales.

In an earlier resolution, assistant city prosecutor Baltazar Morales found probable cause to charge De Vera with robbery based on the complaint of Hamid Reza Aghaali Maghazeh.
