Perseus Echeminada - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - An hour-long fire razed a car repair shop in Pasay City Sunday night, destroying 15 cars, an official said yesterday.

The fire broke out at the repair shop owned by Manuel Ong at around 10 p.m. Sunday, city fire marshal Chief Inspector Douglas Guiab said.

Most of the vehicles “were brought to the shop for repair,” he said.

Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire, which was put under control an hour later.

Guiab said no one was injured the blaze and the damage was estimated at P1.2 million.
