2 killed as motorcycle rams school gate in Pasig

MANILA, Philippines - Two persons were killed when the motorcycle they were riding rammed the iron gate of a school in Pasig City early yesterday morning.

Robbie Niel Concepcion, 26, of Burgos street, Barangay San Jose, and Reynold Lienry Leonor, 31, a Philippine Air Force soldier and resident of Callejon 2, Barangay Sta. Cruz, died of massive head injuries at the Rizal Medical Center.

Concepcion and Leonor were riding a Suzuki Skydrive when they figured in the accident at 4:50 a.m., according to traffic investigator Police Officer 3 Edwin Cruz.

Cruz said the duo were not wearing helmets when the motorcycle crashed into the iron gate of the Central Elementary School in Barangay San Nicolas.

Police have yet to establish if the victims were under the influence of liquor at the time of the accident.
