Robbers kill man at bus terminal

MANILA, Philippines - A man lost his valuables and was killed by four men who robbed him in front of a bus terminal in Novaliches, Quezon City at past midnight yesterday.

Jonathan Balleta, 33, was waiting for a ride home in front of the bus terminal along Quirino Highway in Barangay Sta. Monica when four men robbed him of his cell phone and an undetermined amount of money, according to Police Officer 2 Alvin Quisumbing.

One of the robbers then stabbed him in the chest before the group fled.

A bystander brought Balleta to the Novaliches District Hospital, where he died around 20 minutes after the attack, police said.
