MANILA, Philippines - Three boys were arrested in Malabon City Friday night for allegedly violating the election gun ban.
Inspector Edgardo Nepay said police officers of Police Community Precinct 8 apprehended the boys following reports that a group of armed youths were seen roaming near P. Aquino street in Tonsuya.
A .357 caliber handgun, a bullet, a knife and an icepick were recovered from the boys. Nepay said the boys and the recovered evidence were turned over to the city police’s Women and Children Protection Desk.
