Alleged drug pusher nabbed in Valenzuela

Aie Balagtas See - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A man accused of being one of Valenzuela City’s most notorious drug pushers was arrested in Barangay Masangkay on March 1, after he was reportedly caught selling shabu, a police official said yesterday.

Francisco Ramos III’s neighbors had been complaining about his alleged activities to the city government and the police, prompting authorities to put him under surveillance for a week, said city police chief Senior Superintendent Eric Armamento.

“He has been the subject of a series of text (messages) and complaints for being known to this place as the source of shabu,” he said.

Police officers seized from Ramos a sachet of what they believe is shabu as well as pieces of aluminum foil, a lighter, pen and ice cream container, Armamento said.
