NGO offers free RH consultations

MANILA, Philippines - A non-government organization will provide free consultations on reproductive health and family planning for couples this March in selected areas in Metro Manila in line with the celebration of Women’s Month.

The DKT Reproductive Health Inc., through its campaign “Filipinay,” will provide free consultations on March 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 20, 22, 27, and 29 at the Light Railway Transit Line 1’s EDSA, Baclaran, Doroteo Jose and Roosevelt stations.

According to its website, Filipinay is an advocacy campaign geared towards celebrating the modern Filipina’s right to an informed reproductive health choice.

“Women have always had a primary role in Philippine society, but there is still much to improve, especially in providing women with access to information from which they can make responsible choices,” said Aileen Puzon, product manager of Filipinay.
