Reinir Padua - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Police arrested three students in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City Tuesday night.

The suspects yielded two bricks of marijuana leaves wrapped in newspaper, according to Quezon City Police District director Senior Superintendent Richard Albano.

Albano identified the three as Michael Levin Molo, 20; Donn Umberto Gabriel, 19; both residents of Quezon City; and Robert Dwight Sison, 19, of Sampaloc, Manila.

The trio were nabbed at past 6 p.m. in front of a fastfood restaurant in Mabuhay Rotonda.

QCPD deputy director for administration Senior Superintendent Joel Pagdilao said the suspects were selling a brick of marijuana for P500.

Pagdilao said they launched the drug sting after receiving information on the drug peddling activities of the suspects.

He said the suspects were students of an aeronautics school in the metropolis.
