2 Tamaraw players arrested for hashish

MANILA, Philippines - Two players of the Far Eastern University’s Tamaraw basketball team were arrested for alleged possession of marijuana at dawn yesterday.

Police refused to present to media Anthony Hargrove, 21, and Adam Mohammad, 22, pending their inquest.

Reports said that Hargrove and Mohammad were allegedly smoking marijuana at the corner of N. Reyes street and Claro M. Recto Avenue just a few meters away from the university at 12:30 a.m. when patrolling operatives from the Manila Police District Station 4 spotted them.

FEU coach Nash Racela refused to comment on the incident.
