Alleged ecstasy pusher caught in QC

MANILA, Philippines - A man suspected of peddling ecstasy capsules to partygoers was arrested during a drug bust in Quezon City before dawn yesterday.

Pocholo dela Cruz, 26, was arrested at a fastfood store in Barangay Sto. Domingo at past 4 a. m., said Quezon City Police District director Senior Superintendent Richard Albano.

Dela Cruz yielded two sachets, each containing two capsules of what police suspect to be ecstasy.

Senior Inspector Roberto Razon said the suspect had been under surveillance for a week. “We received information he was catering to partygoers in different bars,” he said in an interview.
