MANILA, Philippines - An unidentified man apologized to a former murder convict after shooting him in the head in Malabon City Sunday.
“I am sorry, you hurt my child,†the gunman was heard saying to Angelo Figueroa, 34.
Investigators said Figueroa was sitting in front of a computer shop in Barangay Longos at around 9 p.m. when a man wearing a helmet and a red jacket approached him from behind, shot him and apologized before fleeing.
Figueroa served 12 years in the New Bilibid Prison.
