Light rains today – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines - Light rains would mark the start of the Year of the Water Snake, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) predicted yesterday.
“There would be fair weather in Metro Manila. The public can expect isolated passing light rains, mostly to occur in the afternoon,†forecaster Glaiza Escolar said.
She advised those who will participate in outdoor events to mark the start of the Chinese New Year to bring an umbrella or other rain gear.
