Ex-tanod, 2 others nabbed for selling shabu

MANILA, Philippines - A former barangay watchman in Makati City was arrested by agents of the Makati Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) in a drug bust in Barangay East Rembo Thursday afternoon.

Paul Gonzaga, 50, was nabbed along with his companions Danilo Sta. Ana and Roslan Reyhermoso after they handed four plastic sachets of shabu to undercover MADAC agents and police officers along 8th Avenue at past 4 a.m., according to MADAC operations chief Jaime Santos.

Santos said the seized drugs have a street value of P2,000.
