2 Internet shops lose P.4 M to burglars

MANILA, Philippines - Two Internet shops lost P400,000 worth of computers in separate break-in incidents in Caloocan City before dawn yesterday.

The first burglary happened at the Asobi computer shop along William Shaw street in Barangay 94. Thirteen computer units worth P300,000 were reportedly stolen.

The incident was discovered at 5:15 a.m. by a 60-year-old passerby who saw the shop’s padlock destroyed. The shop’s owner Dennis Canlas reported the incident to the police.

About 30 minutes later, another computer shop owned by Geralyn Tabano in Barangay 12 was robbed of 10 computer units.
