Reinir Padua - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - A woman died after she was thrown from a motorcycle, driven by her partner, and was run over by a bus in Fairview, Quezon City before dawn yesterday.

Joanna Marie Magsanoc, 25, was on a motorcycle driven by her partner, Jerome Aglean. They were on their way home when Aglean crashed his motorcycle into the rear of a Viofel bus (NYG-463) along the southbound lane of Commonwealth Avenue at around 5 a.m., Senior Police Officer 1 Gary Talacay said.

The impact threw Magsanoc, who reportedly did not wear a helmet, from the motorcycle. The right rear wheel of a passing Safeway bus (TXT-839) crushed the woman’s head, Talacay said.
