Drinking spree ends in tragedy

MANILA, Philippines - A drinking spree turned tragic when a businessman accidentally shot a 22-year-old student in Las Piñas City Tuesday.
Jose Emmanuel Sayno was taken to the Las Piñas Doctors Hospital, where he was declared in stable condition. The suspect, identified as Patrick Raymundo, was arrested by police after the incident.
Sayno and Raymundo were drinking when the former became unruly.
The suspect tried to pacify him, but Sayno pushed and attacked him.
Raymundo then took a .45 caliber pistol to smash the victim’s nape, but the gun accidentally went off, hitting Sayno in the head.
