MANILA, Philippines - A lawyer of Janelle Manahan yesterday said he is not sure if the former television actress will attend today’s hearing on the Ram Revilla slay case at the Parañaque regional trial court.
“We are still doing our best to make her available,” lawyer Argee Guevarra told The STAR in a telephone interview.
Guevarra said that if Manahan fails to appear in court, her Oct. 23 testimony “won’t hold water.”
Judge Fortunito Madrona of the Parañaque RTC Branch 274 had earlier warned that Manahan’s testimony would be terminated if she fails to show up for today’s hearing.
