MANILA, Philippines - A recruitment company lost some P800,000 in cash to burglars in Caloocan City Tuesday.
Robbed was Togo Labor Inc. along 9th Avenue in Grace Park, Caloocan.
One of the firm’s owners, Maxine Gina Lukban, 54, told investigators the break-in was discovered when an office clerk identified as April Navaser reported for work at 8:30 a.m.
Navaser said she found the office in disarray and the two safety vaults open.
Police theorized that the robbery was an inside job. Probers said the suspects apparently knew the lock combination of the safety vaults.
