Businessman killed in eatery heist

MANILA, Philippines - A businessman was killed when he refused to give up his belongings to two men who robbed an eatery in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City early morning yesterday.

John Villagracia, 39, was ordering food when one of the robbers grabbed his bag. The victim fought back, managing to get the robber’s gun, Senior Police Officer 1 Johnny Mahilum said.

However, another robber shot him in the head and other parts of the body. Investigators said the robbers fled with the victim’s bag and cell phone.
