Restaurant caretaker shot dead

MANILA, Philippines - A man who worked as a caretaker was shot dead in front of the restaurant he was working for in Quezon City Saturday night.

Initial investigation by the Quezon City Police District showed that at around 9:30 p.m., unidentified persons attacked Godofredo Agudo, 58, in front of Dory’s Restaurant in Novaliches.

A fellow employee said he heard gunshots while he was trying to close the back door of the restaurant. When he checked, he saw Agudo’s body on the ground.
