Fire hits bar in Baclaran

MANILA, Philippines - A gay bar in Baclaran, Paranaque was destroyed by a 30-minute fire yesterday morning.

A fire broke out at Machette, located on the second floor of the Coast Bay Bar along Roxas Boulevard, at around 10:24 a.m. The fire reached first alarm and was put out at about 11:15 a.m. No one was hurt.

City fire marshal Superintendent Manuel Manuel pegged the damages at P200,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
