2 teens, 2 others nabbed for burglaries
MANILA, Philippines - Two teenagers were arrested following separate burglary incidents wherein they were accompanied by adults, Quezon City Police District director Chief Superintendent Mario dela Vega said yesterday.
Dela Vega said the two arrested adults were Analyn Espino, 24, and Alejandro Montes, 31.
Police Officer 2 Joven Raymaro said Espino and a 14-year-old girl were arrested after they allegedly took a pouch containing P2,400 from the house of Raquel Ann Alconcel in Barangay Sto. Domingo as Alconcel’s family was sleeping. A neighbor saw the two females slip through the front door at around 4 a.m., Raymaro said.
Montes was arrested with a 17-year-old boy after overseas worker Ramil McCoy accused them of taking his P34,000 Toshiba laptop as he was sleeping in his rented unit, also in Barangay Sto. Domingo.
He said he was awakened by a rustling noise at his window and saw the suspects running along the street, carrying his laptop.
