MANILA, Philippines - A 71-year-old man was arrested Monday for allegedly raping his neighbor’s three daughters on two occasions in Pasig City.
Virgilio Bolanda denied the charges against him filed by the mother of the girls, aged nine, seven and five. She said her daughters told her he molested them on Nov. 1 and 4.
Senior Superintendent Mario Rariza, city police chief, ordered the filing of rape in relation to the anti-child abuse law and two counts of acts of lasciviousness against Bolanda, who is being held at the Pasig City detention center.
