MANILA, Philippines - Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) recently seized more than P300 million worth of fake Chanel and Burberry products in Pasay City.

NBI Director Nonnatus Caesar Rojas said his men simultaneously raided several stalls at the Baclaran shopping mall, Megaflex Building along FB Harrison, and One Shopping Center on Kapitan Ambo street, all in Pasay City.

The raiders were armed with search warrants issued by Acting Presiding Judge Lyliha Abella-Aquino of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 24.

Charges for violation of the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines have been filed against the owners and operators of the raided stalls.
