MANILA, Philippines - The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) was judged as the best police district of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) for this year.
NCRPO director Chief Superintendent Leonardo Espina will hand over the plaque to QCPD director Chief Superintendent Mario dela Vega in a simple ceremony today. The QCPD bagged the award for dismantling of the Ozamis robbery gang and performing above par against crime. The NCRPO also named Quezon City, under Mayor Herbert Bautista, the best city government for the year.
