8 hurt in Pasay road mishap

MANILA, Philippines -  At least eight people were injured when an Elf truck collided with a multicab at the corner of Gil Puyat Avenue and Roxas Boulevard in Pasay City Friday night.

According to initial reports, an Elf truck (WNR-988) went out of control along Roxas Boulevard and hit a multicab (TYG-926) at around 10 p.m.

Leah Andrada of the city’s rescue unit said none of the victims – either multicab passengers or truck helpers – were in serious condition. She identified them as Gary Balde, Precilla de la Paz, Gerard Eugenio, Ronald Paredes, Janice Ann Cayabyab, Ben Amorosa, Arnold Morosa and Nelly Bermudo.
